Why no dollar amounts
This site publishes percentages and per-share market prices only. Account equity, buying power, cash and share counts never leave the machine the strategy runs on. The publishing step refuses any payload containing them.
It costs you nothing: a percentage return is the honest comparable anyway, and it is what you would need to size a position against your own account rather than someone else's.
Open positions show unrealised return, which moves with the market and is not locked in. Only the closed trades on the track record are settled.
